Police launch investigation into mysterious disappearance of woman 35 years ago

Detectives have opened a criminal investigation into a mysterious disappearance of a woman from New Hampshire who has not been seen for 35 years, after the baby she vanished with has been found.

When Denise Beaudin vanished back in 1981, her family said they believed that she had left along with her boyfriend and their baby because of financial problems. However, police say they are now searching for Ms Beaudin after her daughter was found alive and well.

According to information from the state attorney general’s office, Ms Beaudin’s family have not seen her since Thanksgiving in 1981, when she was with her boyfriend Robert Evans and her baby girl. At that point she was only 23, so she would now be 58.

When her family went to pay her a visit a few days later, they say they found the home in Manchester deserted. However, they did not report her missing at that point. Now, however, officers are looking into the case. They say that have found her daughter and that she is safe and well. Meanwhile, authorities say they also know where Mr Evans, now 72, is.

However, police have not said why they are now looking into the case. However, Ms Beaudin’s name is now on the National Crime Information Center’s list of missing people. This includes those who may be in danger or whose disappearance may not have been voluntary.

Detectives say they will release further information to the public in upcoming weeks. However, they said they wanted to let people know about the investigation in case Ms Beaudin could be in the area for the festive period. Officers are urging anyone who knew either Ms Beaudin or her former boyfriend from 1976 to 1981 including anyone who went to High School with her, or neighbors in the Hayward Street area.

Ms Beaudin went to Goffstown High School in 1976 and then went on to work at both General Cable and Demers Nursing Home in Manchester.
