Hazard Set To Start First Game This Season

Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte has revealed that winger Eden Hazard is set to start a game this season for the first time in Chelsea’s game against Nottingham Forest.

Hazard, 26, scored 16 goals and got five assists as the London Club went on to win the English Premier League. He was however ruled for the start of the design after sustaining an injury while on international duty with Belgium.

He made his return to the pitch in Belgium’s World Cup qualifying games this month but has only made just one appearance for Chelsea which was a substitute appearance for the club in their last game against Arsenal.

We Need Hazard

“For Hazard, now is the best time to get back into the first team action and try and go all the way.” Antonio Conte said in his pre-match briefing before the game against Forest.

“I do hope we can call on him because he is an important player for the club. I also witnessed a lot of injuries so I know how to deal with it. That is the reason why we are trying to manage it well.”

Hazard also revealed that he has improved greatly as a player ever since Antonio Conte came on as Chelsea manager and has expressed his desire to repay the faith the Italian manager has in him once again this season.
