‘Facebook Killer’, Steve Stephens, Shoots Himself After Police Chase

An atrocious murder kept the breath out of people’s lungs in the state of Cleveland, having taking unprecedented proportions that shocked all its inhabitants.

The outlaw, Steve Stephens, has killed an old man, Robert Godwin which was a self-taught mechanic and grandfather of 14, in a horrifying way in a public space, as well as capturing his atrocious action on tape and posted it on his Facebook account for his followers to witness.

The African-American was pursued by local security forces since and has ended in him shooting himself in a police chase to prevent his life sentence.

Authority relief

The local police chief expressed his grief for the victim’s family and relief for the disappearance of the outlaw from the streets of his state, saying: “We’re grateful that this has ended. We would prefer that it had not ended this way because there are a lot of questions, I’m sure, that not only the family but the city in general would have had for Steve”.

The car of Mr. Stephens was located by a trespasser in the parking lot of a McDonald’s near Erie and alarmed the police through a phone call. As the security forces ambushed the criminal, they found him shooting himself with his own gun to mark the end of his life.

Grief and devastation

The family of the victim have been devastated and couldn’t hold their grief and misery as they were interviewed by a CNN reporter: “Each one of us forgives the killer, the murderer” said one of his daughters.

Another of his several kids told the news man: “They don’t make men like him anymore. He was definitely one in a million”. The crime has raised questions about several social issues including the gun laws on the state and federal level.
